Owner

Borealis offers a suite of products centered around our stakeholder management software. We are currently looking for a Product Owner who will be responsible for the evolution of one of our product lines. This person will work closely with the product manager, our development and design teams to ensure the quality of our evolutions, and with our customer success and sales teams to ensure their relevance. We are looking for a profile that will help us structure the team to accelerate the development and delivery of our projects.

A day as a Product Owner

  • Work closely with the design team to validate UX mockups, define product features and prioritize the product backlog, and achieve goals ;
  • Work closely with the scrum team throughout the development process.
  • Communicate the business benefits of each individual feature;
  • Communicate boundaries to describe the realities in which the vision must be achieved;
  • Plan and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes for projects.
  • Write clear acceptance criteria on user stories.
  • Participate in agile development meetings; 
  • Act as a product expert to internal teams; 
  • Ensure that the technical documentation of the product is clear and up to date; 
  • Collaborate with other members of the product team to ensure the consistency of the Borealis product suite and the harmonization of product evolutions; 
  • Develop methods to monitor the performance of the product with customers. 
  • Collaborate with the technical writing team when delivering new features;
  • Generate ideas and solutions to existing customer problems.
  • Determine roadmaps for products in the creation phase

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager in a SaaS environment with Agile/Scrum development ;
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment ;
  • Strong grasp of agile principles and processes (Certification a plus) and backlog management
  • Ability to balance an agile mindset with changing business needs;
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken;
  • Experience with stakeholder management software or CRM development will be considered a strong asset
