Borealis offers a suite of products centered around our stakeholder management software. We are currently looking for a product owner who will be responsible for the evolution of one of our product lines. This person will work closely with the product manager, our development and design teams to ensure the quality of our evolutions, and with our customer success and sales teams to ensure their relevance.

Our company is now 100% telecommuting, with flexible work hours (37.5h/week) to accommodate our customers’ time zones. Possibility of national and international travel when the health situation allows.

  • Participate in the establishment of a clear product vision and roadmap;  
  • Ensure an excellent understanding of our customers’ needs by talking with them and with the customer success and sales teams;  
  • Define and maintain the product backlog, and assume decision-making authority for the backlog;  
  • Work closely with the design and development teams to evolve the product;  
  • Participate in agile development meetings;  
  • Act as a product expert for internal teams;  
  • Ensure that the technical documentation of the product is clear and up to date;  
  • Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure the consistency of the Borealis product suite and the harmonization of product evolutions;  
  • Develop methods for monitoring the performance of the product with customers.  


  • Experience as a Product Owner in an IT company;  
  • Strong knowledge of agile principles and processes (Certification an asset) and backlog management;  
  • Analytical skills and sensitivity to sustainability, stakeholder engagement, environment or any other related field;  
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken;  
  • Experience with stakeholder management software or CRM development will be considered a strong asset;  
  • Experience in international or community relations, government relations, or land management will be considered an asset;  
  • Ability to recognize and seize business opportunities.
