We work with Agile methodology and teams of about 5 individuals. The development cycle using review codes (JIRA , Git and Jenkins) and other different tests allows us to deploy on our production servers every month.

What technologies do we use?

Our SaaS application (also named Boréalis) is a key tool for numerous companies with projects around the world. Our back-end is in Node.js and backed by other technologies (HTML5, MongoDB, CSS3, Bootstrap, Backbone, JQuery, PostgreSQL, Less, Docker, etc.).

Our application relies 100% on Open Source technologies. Just like Netflix, Uber and Paypal, we’re using the Node.js Javascript framework.

A day in the shoes of a Developer at Boréalis:

  • Conceive innovative business applications.
  • Implement technical processes within the system, which is built on the Node.js platform.
  • Analyze desired functionalities.
  • Cooperate to the continuous improvement process of the software.
  • Develop high performance web services for the management of mapping data (GIS), business intelligence and integration of external applications.

The profile we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.
  • Knowledge of Node.js, Backbone, Bootstrap.
  • Creative, autonomous, self-taught, curious and resourceful person who has the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Keen interest in new technologies.
  • Experience in a similar position of at least 5 years.
  • Collegial-level studies (Collegial diploma in Computer science).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Management, or Computer Engineering (an asset).

The challenge we’ve got for you

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new leads to support the objectives of the Account Directors. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!

Responsibilities include identifying and assessing potential prospects, determining key decision-makers. Ideal candidates will thrive on the challenge of thorough research for new clients, and will enjoy the cold connecting and prospecting cycle in a goal-oriented environment.

  • Effectively utilize lead qualification process as well as document sales information
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential new prospects.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Work with the Account Directors to develop and grow the sales pipeline to meet quarterly revenue goals.
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in Boréalis, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.
  • Identify projects sites for prospect companies (ex. Mining projects) and key contacts for each site.
  • Bilingual: French and English, written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Spanish would be an asset

We’re currently seeking a multitalented Product Marketing Manager to own and manage all marketing aspects of our purpose-built stakeholder engagement Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. You will become an expert on our customers’ needs, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape. You’re also a digital expert who knows how to leverage data analysis and SEO strategies to support our web marketing efforts.

You’ll work closely with our marketing, product, and sales teams, as well as our customer care department to synthesize information on our clients. You will use this information to help us demonstrate the value of our software in a language that resonates with their needs. Most importantly, you’ll be the link that ensures the product we build reaches the people we’re building it for. Primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Own and manage the product’s marketing plan
  • Conduct research on market landscape and document competitiveness of our offering
  • Support product definition, positioning, and messaging across the product line
  • Develop SEO campaign strategies, analyze data to identify optimization strategies and opportunities
  • Gather and analyze data to inform product strategy and decisions
  • Gather information on our customer personas and their unique needs through research, observation, and conversations with customer-facing staff
  • Create engaging marketing and sales collateral to enable our sales, training, and customer care teams

The profile we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate for this role loves understanding business customer pain points and articulating ways to solve them using technology. You thrive on owning projects from start to finish, whether that means keeping others on track or diving in to make things happen. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable creating the content for a wide range of internal and external audiences. You’ll also need to be comfortable getting technical: Boréalis provides a complex solution to simple problems that client companies face either in link with their social license to operate or social performance.

You must be proactive and self-directed – on a day-to-day basis, you’ll often set your own agenda. Lastly, strong people skills are essential as you’ll be working closely with staff ranging from entry-level employees to senior executives.


  • Successful track record of B2B product marketing for a technology company for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Proven experience managing projects and delivering material on a deadline.
  • You have a good understanding of SEO and how to market on the web.
  • Ability to translate product features into benefits and position them for specific audiences.
  • Experience developing compelling product marketing collateral.
  • Demonstrates analytical success, capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and French).
  • Fluency using spreadsheets and building presentations.
  • Thrives and enjoys a highly-collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Experience in marketing Software-as a-Service (SaaS) and/or Agile development
  • Experience conducting survey-based customer research
  • Proficiency analyzing research data in Excel
  • Proficiency working with Google Analytics and other SEO tools
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in marketing, psychology, product management, or business administration
  • Experience marketing products to professional services businesses (marketing agencies, consulting firms, software implementation teams, etc.)
