We work with Agile methodology and teams of about 5 individuals. The development cycle using review codes (JIRA , Git and Jenkins) and other different tests allows us to deploy on our production servers every month.

What technologies do we use?

Our SaaS application (also named Boréalis) is a key tool for numerous companies with projects around the world. Our back-end is in Node.js and backed by other technologies (HTML5, MongoDB, CSS3, Bootstrap, Backbone, JQuery, PostgreSQL, Less, Docker, etc.).

Our application relies 100% on Open Source technologies. Just like Netflix, Uber and Paypal, we’re using the Node.js Javascript framework.

A day in the shoes of a Developer at Boréalis:

  • Conceive innovative business applications.
  • Implement technical processes within the system, which is built on the Node.js platform.
  • Analyze desired functionalities.
  • Cooperate to the continuous improvement process of the software.
  • Develop high performance web services for the management of mapping data (GIS), business intelligence and integration of external applications.

The profile we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.
  • Knowledge of Node.js, Backbone, Bootstrap.
  • Creative, autonomous, self-taught, curious and resourceful person who has the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Keen interest in new technologies.
  • Experience in a similar position of at least 5 years.
  • Collegial-level studies (Collegial diploma in Computer science).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Management, or Computer Engineering (an asset).

The challenge we’ve got for you

Our team is seeking a bilingual, multi-talented Customer Care Agent who will be in charge of managing our ticket system and customer requests on a daily basis, in addition to offering technical support to our stakeholder engagement software users. Working from our head office in Magog, you’ll be the touch point for our clients in over 25 countries and you’ll be responsible of customer experience. As a key member of the customer care team, you’ll also collaborate with our sales and product development teams on a regular basis. Principal responsibilities of this position include:

  • Offering online support using email and the web application Zendesk
  • Analyzing and solving technical issues linked to our web application (software as a service SaaS)
  • Assisting clients with the configuration of their services
  • Offering courteous, timely and efficient customer care
  • Following up on problem resolution and client satisfaction
  • Opening and issuing detailed descriptions of client problems in tickets

 

The profile we’re looking for:

You must be proactive and autonomous – on a daily basis, you’ll be responsible to manage a part of your schedule and of determining the priority level client requests and tickets.  You love to learn, are autodidact and comfortable using different software and web applications. Finally, you’re known for your excellent relational skills, which will come in handy when working with staff at various levels, from juniors to executive management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer care experience, minimum 2 years
  • Excellent communication skills in English and in French, written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Spanish or other languages (an asset).
  • Knowledge of databases and mapping tools (GIS).
  • Quick learning curve and great professional development potential.
  • Performs well and values a collaborative, fast and entrepreneurial work environment.
  • Loves to analyze and solve issues.

Favorable experience/skills:

The challenge we’ve got for you

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new leads to support the objectives of the Account Directors. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!

Responsibilities include identifying and assessing potential prospects, determining key decision-makers. Ideal candidates will thrive on the challenge of thorough research for new clients, and will enjoy the cold connecting and prospecting cycle in a goal-oriented environment.

  • Effectively utilize lead qualification process as well as document sales information
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential new prospects.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Work with the Account Directors to develop and grow the sales pipeline to meet quarterly revenue goals.
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in Boréalis, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.
  • Identify projects sites for prospect companies (ex. Mining projects) and key contacts for each site.
  • Bilingual: French and English, written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Spanish would be an asset
