The first “Cultural Diversity is Our Business” (« La diversité culturelle notre affaire! ») gala was held on October 17, 2013 at the Théâtre Granada in Sherbrooke. Borealis was honored to receive the Cultural Diversity award in the Large Business category. Jules Paquette, president and CEO; Johanne Ceelen, HR Director; and Messaouda Benhizia, HR advisor proudly accepted the award on behalf of the company.
The event was organized by Actions interculturelles to celebrate employers whose positive, innovative actions promote the integration of newcomers into Quebec society, and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
